Meet Caroline Wolf Mansour

Caroline Wolf Mansour began writing short fiction as a creative outlet while raising her two children. Her early work has appeared in various anthologies and journals, notably “Sing Me a Lullaby,” “The Cheerful Spectator,” and “Early Days.” Most recently, “Unable to Sleep” was chosen as a Top 25 Finalist for Glimmer Train’s Very Short Fiction Award. “Immersion Room” was chosen as a finalist in the 48th New Millennium Writing Awards. She lives outside Chicago, Illinois with her husband and two children. The Sun in Winter is her debut novel.

A Few Things You Might Not Know About Me
  1.  I held the high jump record at my high school until about seven years ago.
  2.  I suffer from migraines and chronic headaches—it’s rare that I don’t have some sort of niggling pain in my head.
  3.  I haven’t been in a swimming pool since my kids were able to be in them on their own, and likely never will be again. Not a pool person.
  4.  Aside from my husband and children, the person I travel most frequently with is my 84-year-old father. He’s delightful (aside from his extensive list of pet peeves, which grows with each trip).
